David J. Wiens is a New York City based theater, film and television actor, but was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Since moving to New York he has been fortunate to be a part of many wonderful productions including a workshop of The Visit directed by John Doyle, The Flood at Prospect Theater, and understudied three time Olivier winner Philip Quast in the role of Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd with the NY Philharmonic, directed by Lonny Price. He has performed regionally at the Fulton Opera House, the New Huntington, and made his National Tour debut in Elf The Musical presented by NETworks. During Hurricane Sandy he filmed scenes for Free The Nipple directed by Lina Esco.
